I would like to formally introduce the latest addition to the studio, Chase Alexander Harnack. Born Feburary 8th 2009, 6lbs 4oz and 18in long! Like his daddy, he felt the need to get a jump on life and decided he was ready to come 4 weeks early! So Sunday night was a mad dash to put the crib and everything together. Thank God for all those years playing Tetris and Legos!
He finally got to come home last night, and, I am pretty sure it was the longest night of my life! We tried to put him in the bassinet to sleep, but he wanted no part of it. Finally, I laid him on my chest, tucked him under my covers and he was out like a light.
I plan on enjoying that as long as it lasts. It seems like I have spent my whole life waiting for tomorrow. I now plan of living for today.
