BEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA!!

This is my goal, Kind of a fun little project! Some wonderful, caring and generous person nominated us for the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA! (Cough Cough ME Cough). Chris and Libby laugh at me for nominating myself, but, I think there is a lesson to be learned.

And it is simply.... If you don't believe in yourself, nobody else will!

Now on that note, you still need people around you that love and support you otherwise you are just a guy with a big ego. And I have been blessed (Ok stop laughing, I'm talking friends and family. No really stop laughing ;p).

So show some love.. VOTE FOR US, Click on the picture below ;)

MySpace

So I finally updated our senior myspace with some new images of our amazazing ambassadors, I even included video. Kringle is working on some behind the scenes videos as well. Check it out at http://www.myspace.com/harnackstudios. We also have our wedding MySpace too.

Now what's real funny, is when I got into photography, 3 years ago, I thought MySpace was a joke and a breeding ground for piracy and mischief (thats the old guy in me talking). What was happening is our seniors were scanning our images and posting them on MySpace which is kind of illegal. But, one Christmas day my mom made the comment of how SHE SCANNED MY IMAGES and printed her own.... YEA MY OWN MOTHER. So, instead of fighting a losing battle, I figured why not embrace the inevitable and started providing low res versions of images that our clients purchase with our name on it. It was the best descision I made, not only are we getting recognition but the images are a better quality than scans, and everybody loves it.

So, to those reading, think outside the box. Just because that was how you were taught, doesn't mean it's the only way.

Adrienne

Just thought I would share a few new favorite pictures of mine! Our Lodi High ambassador, Adrienne, recently started taking guitar lessons, so we incorporated it into her spring photoshoot. Unfortunately, to the right of Adrienne was a bucket of duck guts, and im pretty sure Chris has it on video. This girl can definitely rock out despite the fact that she was chillin' with a pail of innards next her! (Thank you to the Lucchesi family for the awesome location, and to Ed for providing the guts! : ).
Sam always loves to incorporate hobbies into our senior pictures, and this is a great example of that. Why not show off what you love to do!? Well guys, its back to editing for me. Have a great week and a wonderful valentine's day!
